The scenic Westmorland Way is a 95 mile walk through the old county of that name, which now forms the south eastern segment of Cumbria. Although Westmorland was abolished as a county in 1974, its name lives on in the heritage of the area and in this outstanding walk. From mountain pass to canal town path, this is a walk of unparalleled variety. This website has been created to encourage and promote the year round exploration and enjoyment of this walk, providing all the tools neccessary to plan a successful and enjoyable trip.
